Tawara-jima Island is a hidden scenic location, a registered natural memorial, and a fantastic look-out across Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge.
Located at the tip of the Mukatsu Peninsula, the island is composed of basalt, and is 900 meters around, and 30 meters tall at its highest point.
The island provides a wonderful view from any angle. and is also considered very valuable for its unique geographical composition, which includes fossilized seaweed and a very rare type of coral.
With gently revolving wind turbines and 18,000 azalea blossoming, this knoll makes for a lovely photo spot!查看更多
