The view from the 275 meter summit of Mount Myoken is truly remarkable, from the setting sun sinking behind the silhouette of the island below, and the fishing lights in the bay twinkling like diamonds in the dim light.
The mountain trail is lined with seasonal flowers like azaleas and hydrangeas, whose changing blooms are a delight to hikers.
