Famed for its nearly 40 kilometers of striking coastline, Omijima Island is located in the center of
Kita-Nagato Kaigan Quasi-National Park, a nationally protected area. The island’s coast features
incredible rock sculptures and tunnels shaped by the ocean waves, whose shape has earned them the
nickname, the "Alps of the Sea." From the sea, you can explore all the miraculous hidden pockets of
Omijima.

Dolphin-style boats
Dolphin-style boats are smaller and able to manage sharper turns, and are therefore suitable for skimming through tighter areas, like tunnels through the rocks. Dolphin boats make for a more exciting journey around Omijima Island.
